In September 2025 our Golf Club needed to change our Competition Softwear provider. Having evaluated 5 providers, we decided on SmartGolf. They provided a working demo system which we found comprehensive, easy to use and greatly assisted in our evaluation. We operated a Cash Competition Purse through our previous software. None of the companies contacted provided anything similar, however within 3 days of speaking with SmartGolf they had developed and provided this option for us. SmartGolf is an Irish Company, the advice and support provided by Fergus has been outstanding and enabled a seamless transition. Most importantly, they respond within the day and often within the hour on any help and advice needed. I have no hesitation in recommending SmartGolf.

Since 2021, SmartGolf has fully supported the more than 425 golfers at the West Coast Challenge, who expressed universal delight with the tournament system. Each player could see their bookings on each day; 95% scored their own cards using SmartGolf; the system delivered daily and overall singles and team results by 8pm each evening, and scores were automatically uploaded to Golf Ireland! The positive feedback from our participants have made the West Coast Challenge a very special annual event for us!

A very simple and easy to use system for booking tee times and handling our competitions. We reviewed several systems and wanted to use one which was a one stop shop for handicaps, scoring, competitions and finance if needed. Smartgolf team was very helpful with any queries. Having a URL rather than an App kept things simple especially for our older members.
